Reliability.
 To understand how to identify whether a
website is reliable and the elements which
    make it reliable.
 There are a number of ways in which
you can tell whether or not the
information on the website is reliable or
    not.
    ◦ URL
    ◦ Date
    ◦ Adverts
    ◦ Design
 Depending on the ending of the URL of the
website helps you identify whether the website
    is reliable and trustworthy.
 The following websites are set up through the
    government and other reliable businesses.
    ◦ .gov
    ◦ .ac
    ◦ .ed
    ◦ .org
    ◦ .co
    ◦ .com
    ◦ .sch
 If a website has a date on the webpage
this will identify when it was recently
  updated.
 The more recent the date the more
reliable and relevant the information is.
 Are there advertisements on the page?
 The website should show a minimum of
    bias.
 As you read the website ask yourself "Is
the author trying to sway my opinion?"
 If so, the website may be a form of
    advertisement, not reliable information.
Design
 Unreliable website designs will have:
    ◦ Ugly graphics and animated gifs
    ◦ Poor page layout
    ◦ Spelling errors
    ◦ Broken links to pages
