There are several regions in Slovakia, each with their own traditions, folklore, dialects, architecture, clothing, and sense of humor. One region is particularly notable as it contains the geographical center of Europe. Slovak culture, with its history, traditions, and folklore, runs deep and is celebrated through various events and customs that can be experienced in museums and "Slovak villages" that depict life as it was in the past.

Folklore in smederevo
Folklore dancing is an important part of culture in Smederevo, Serbia. The town has a national ensemble called "Gradsko kulturno umetničko društvo Smederevo" with over 500 members across multiple groups. Latvia celebrates its independence day on November 18th. Latvian culture is expressed through traditional folk dresses, Midsummer festivals, song and dance celebrations, and historical sites throughout the country in cities like Riga, Jelgava, and Stāmerienas. Latvia also takes pride in preserving its natural environments and being a center for sports like hockey, basketball, and football.

Among other things, we focused our attention on the musical characteristics of European countries. At each project meeting we made each other acquainted with traditional music, song and dance in our countries. Our Turkish hosts invited us to traditional wedding dances.
Differences and Inequalities in arts participation: Case of Latvian Song and ...
The Latvian Song and Dance Festival is a traditional national event held every five years that brings together over 35,000 amateur performers. Research has found social inequalities in participation, with some groups like ethnic minorities and those with low incomes being excluded. The current study analyzes survey data from 2002, 2007, and 2010 to compare the characteristics of participants and non-participants. It finds that participants are more likely to be ethnic Latvians, live in rural areas, have children, and have higher incomes. The goal is to better understand barriers to participation facing underrepresented groups.

It will be project S.M.A.R.R.R.T. - establishing of first interdisciplinary residency in Belarus, project Workshops for Children, and few artistic projects related to social and political aspects.

Since then, she has maintained a music teaching studio and established a Slavic chamber choir called CYRILIKA to promote Slavic choral music in Canada. The choir has won several awards at music competitions in Canada.

A group of 16 children and 4 teachers from Lodz, Poland visited several places in the Czech Republic, including Prague, before arriving at Radslavice on September 20th. On the 21st, they spent the morning participating in activities and workshops with the Radslavice school, and were greeted by local councilors and the mayor. In the afternoon, the group took a trip to the Hydroelectric Power Station Dlouhe Strane.
LEF presentation
Austria has 29 Leo Clubs across 3 districts with 459 members total. The clubs hold regular weekend gatherings for workshops, meetings and social events. Additionally, Leo and Lions Clubs in Austria partner to collect food donations for those in need through an annual LLAT event. One of the largest social events is the annual LEO Sommerball, which will take place in June 2017 at a castle outside Vienna, bringing together members from different clubs for dancing and celebration.
My favourite painter
Isaac Levitan was a Russian landscape painter born in 1860 who came from a Jewish family in Lithuania. He studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture and was influenced by painters like Savrasov, Perov, and Polenov. Levitan focused on landscapes that conveyed a mood or feeling, without urban scenes, showing the spirituality of nature. Some of his most famous works include Autumn Day. Sokolniki. from 1879 and Evening. The Golden Plyos from 1889. He became a member of the Imperial Academy of Arts and taught landscape painting before dying in 1900 at the age of 40.

Galina Naydenowa-Mitterman is a graphic artist, painter, teacher, poet, and photographer born in 1971 in Teteven, Bulgaria. She became involved in photography in 2002 and has since documented protests in Vienna, events at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute, and performances for Bulgarian media organizations. Her work has also included photographing for the Bulgarian embassies in Vienna and Ankara as well as Bulgarian sports teams and expat groups in Turkey. Some of her pictures were selected for an exhibition in Ankara in 2015.
INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION AND INTERCULTURAL EXCHANGE IN SCHOOL OF MSSES
The Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences launched the first cultural management program in Russia in 1998 based on British educational standards. The program is validated by Manchester University and provides students an MA diploma from Manchester. The program aims to introduce international best practices in cultural project management and a social, cultural project-oriented methodology to Russia. Bringing together foreign theories and Russian practices can cause tensions, but ultimately provides Russian students with valuable international resources and perspectives to better adapt to changing circumstances in cultural management.

The Aral team consists of 9 students aged 16 in the 11th grade from Ahmet Rüştü Anatolian High School in Mudanya, Turkey. Their school has 810 students and 60 teachers and is the oldest and most crowded high school in Mudanya. The students love participating in eTwinning projects and are happy to be part of this project. They introduce their hometown of Mudanya, located on the Marmara Sea near Bursa, describing it as a beautiful seaside town that they love.

The first chat between students in Serbia and Turkey focused on everyday life, hobbies, and school experiences to integrate the chat topics into the curriculum. Students from 10th and 11th grades discussed their likes, dislikes, and daily routines to get to know each other better in a way that also supported their classroom learning.
Festival
Our school has established an eTwinning corner to promote collaboration with other schools in Europe using online tools. The corner allows students to connect with peers abroad on projects and share ideas. Recently, the school held a Safer Internet Day event at the eTwinning corner to teach students about being safe online.
Etwinning corners at our school
Our school has started an eTwinning program where students can collaborate online with other students in Europe. Photos were taken of the new eTwinning corner that has been set up at our school to facilitate these online partnerships. An eSafety day was also held at the school to educate students on how to stay safe online when using the eTwinning program and collaborating with other students internationally.
Result
Most students had a positive attitude towards the project and enjoyed learning new ICT tools while practicing their English. They established good friendships with partners abroad by collaborating in international groups on WhatsApp, email, and twinspace. The teachers' evaluations found the survey results promising, with students liking the project and learning about festivals' importance while gaining teamwork skills and experiencing new technologies.
