Vykdant Lietuvos Respublikos Vyriausybės 2015 m. birželio 22 d. nutarimo Nr. 628 „Dėl užsieniečių, kuriems reikia prieglobsčio, perkėlimo į Lietuvos Respublikos teritoriją“ nuostatas, 2017 m. rugsėjo 12 d. Lietuva iš Italijos, Graikijos ir Turkijos yra perkėlusi 414 asmenų. Viso įsipareigoję perkelti 1035 asmenis. Lietuvos Respublikos Vyriausybės 2016 m. spalio 5 d. nutarimas Nr. 998 „Dėl Valstybės paramos prieglobsčio gavėjų integracijai teikimo tvarkos aprašo patvirtinimo“. Lietuvos Respublikos socialinės apsaugos ir darbo ministro 2014 m. gruodžio 31 d. įsakymas Nr. A1-683 „Dėl Užsieniečių integracijos politikos įgyvendinimo 2015-2017 metų veiksmų plano patvirtinimo“.
