TRANSLATE THROUGH EXCEL XLIFF
You can choose to do the translation outside
of Redokun. Export your sentences from the
document and automatically create Microsoft
Excel files or XLIFF to send to your translators.
When the files are translated, import them
in Redokun and download the translated
InDesign document with the same style and
layout of the original one.
You can also leverage on Translation
Memories to fill the translation column
with previously translated sentences. This
function uses only perfect matches and
clearly highlights the suggested sentences
so that the translator recognises an already
translated sentence from a suggested one.

Keep track of translation jobs live in your account on Redokun. Control and
manage translations on multiple InDesign documents simultaneously with
Redokun. Upload your brochure, catalogues, user manuals, etc. on Redokun.
Monitor your translation jobs as they are being done.

REVISIONS MANAGEMENT
Edit your master document directly in Adobe InDesign. When you upload
something new Redokun updates graphic or content changes in all your target
languages.
You can upload an updated file even if the current translation has yet to be
completed and continue translating the last revision. Any translation completed
is automatically imported in the new revision. Any new sentence or modified
paragraph is shown as 'to be translated'.
XLS / XLIFF files exported from previous versions of the document will be accepted

MAINTAIN DOCUMENT STYLES
Redokun keeps track of all style changes in the sentence. It uses “tags” to mark
style changes and let you focus on the content instead. This way you won’t have to
restore the document style again after the translation is done.

THE INFRASTRUCTURE
Our IT infrastructure is geographically distributed in two
locations: UK and France. Our technological partners have
been selected based on reliability, trustworthiness and
quality of the customer service they provide.
STORAGE
We rely on Amazon Web Services for storing static files (eg.
IDMLs), and these files are stored at an AWS datacenter in
Dublin. All our infrastructure is based in Europe.

our customer's data.
PRIVACY
Redokun doesn’t outsource IT operations other than hosting.
Support is handled internally so we are the only ones who
have access to your files and data, if needed for support

KEEP SPECIAL CHARACTERS USING MARKERS
Glyphs and special characters are also maintained with markers tools. Tags and
markers are very easy to use. Add them as required by pressing TAB, copy-pasting
them or with a simple click.
