Candidates must have passed the CBSE/ISC/IB/A - Levels or any
other recognized high-school examination (12 years of school
education)
The candidates are selected based on:
1) A comprehensive design aptitude test (iDAT)

14. ADMISSIONS PROCESS
• The IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT)
• A comprehensive interview and portfolio assessment
before our panel of art and design professionals
• Students applying for Interior Architecture & Design can
be exempted from the iDAT written test based on their
NATA score. Should they attain the required cut off
score they will progress directly for their Portfolio
Assessment and Interview.

15. SCHOLARSHIPS
• IIAD offers scholarships to meritorious students.
• Candidates with a 70% aggregate in the CBSE/ ISC/ IB
(or any other equivalent board) 10+2 examination in any
discipline may apply for scholarship.
• The final result will depend also on performance in the
IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT), personal interview
and portfolio review.
