The goal was to clean the seashore and prevent further trash from being thrown into the sea like plastic, cans, paper and bottles. On the day of the event, Flordeliza and her friends spent the afternoon cleaning the surrounding seashore area. They were happy with the results of their cleanup efforts to maintain the cleanliness of the local sea and seashore.
Waun Wen Primary School in Swansea, Wales won a bronze award from the Swansea Sustainable Schools scheme for their commitment to improving environmental standards.
