Problem: Throwing wastes in streets and on road

Solution: Cleanliness Drive (Recycled Dustbin)

                                     Student Team:
   1. Patni sonal AGE : 1o years Grade: 5th

   2. Patni Aarti AGE : 10 years Grade: 5th

   3. Patni Vishal AGE : 1o years Grade: 4th
4. Patni Sachin AGE : 11 years Grade: 6th

   5. Patni Arun AGE : 1o years Grade: 5th

                                     FEEL:
The students are asked to feel what the problems, they are facing from the time
they wake up till the time they go for sleep. They have defined many problems,
but the major problem was of throwing dust and wastes in streets and on road.
The people staying in street s and societies are throwing solid wastes out of home
on street or society road and even liquid wastes after lunch and dinner.

                                  IMAGINE:
The students are then asked “how to solve this problem?” and then after
discussion with students, the solution has come to have dustbin at their
respective home. But as the program is basically focusing on implementing the
solution with minimum cost and resources, we, rather purchasing dustbin from
the market, we have decided to make “Recycled Dustbin” and make the students
to learn making such “Recycled Dustbin” and use this dustbins at home.

                                      DO:

The students have been taught to make “Recycled Dustbins” with the help of old
newspapers, glue, water and some colors to make it look nice and colorful. After
learning to make “Recycled Dustbin” they have made such dustbin for their class
and dustbin for their respective home. After learning this, they have realized that
from simple things, they can solve very big problems. They have taught other
students and their friends to make such “Recycled Dustbins.” To make it work
further, we are planning to conduct workshop of making “Recycled Dustbin” in
streets where people can use such dustbins against plastic dustbins and can
march little toward saving environment from wastes and plastic use.
