1. Dear Sir or Madam,<br />It is my pleasure to recommend Laura Zemann for employment. Laura joined our Medicare Risk Team at Mercy Health Plans-A Coventry Company, as a temporary employee in an Administrative Project Coordinator role, in June of 2010. Due to the nature of the project her assignment has ended.<br />We had requested from Staffing Solutions, Inc., a temp agency, an individual skilled in organization and computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Access and Word. Laura met and exceeded all of our expectations. Her work assignment required coordinating a team of 11 auditors which included development of filing systems both electronic and hard copy, training of team members on Excel and Adobe Acrobat functionality, development of communication for mass mailings, correspondence and reporting templates, receipt and tracking of records, data entry, as well as, day to day operations. Laura integrated into the team quickly requiring minimal oversight and instruction. <br />Laura has a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration coupled with extensive administrative and business experience, including 8 years at St Anthony's Medical Center - Medical Records Dept. Laura is a Microsoft Certified Applications Specialist in Excel, Word and Power Point. Her expertise proved invaluable to us as we prepared tools to support the Medicare audit process we were conducting. As well as, supporting the department during a stressful acquisition process where the demands were high for providing supporting process documentation and presentations. <br />Despite the rigorous demands Laura demonstrated strength in the areas of customer service, process improvement, technical training, and organization.<br />I highly recommend Laura as a strong team player to any organization.
