To effectively answer comprehension questions, first allocate the time given and do an initial read through without stopping to get the overall idea. On a second careful reading, spend more time understanding unfamiliar words. Scan the questions without looking at answers, then try answering independently and flagging difficult ones. Reread questions and find answers in the text, skipping hard ones. If needed, reread the text and justify answers. Finally, revisit initially skipped questions to improve comprehension skills.

First of all you have to keep in mind how much time you have been allocated to
solve the comprehension. Then go through the passagewithout stopping and have
some general idea about the passage. Again read the passage for the second time
more carefully. Here you should spend a little bit more time if you don’t
understand a particular word or point.
Then you need to scan or read the questions without looking for the answers. Then
try to find a answer by yourself and skip the questions which you can’t answer at a
first try.
Now you should re-read the questions and try to find the answers from the passage,
you can skip the questions which seem more difficult.
If you can’t answer any particular question then you can go through the text again.
Then after answering all the questions you may justify the answers with the test or
