Cultural relativism is the contrasting concept of understanding behavior only in terms of a person's culture. Ethnocentrism can manifest as cultural nearsightedness by taking one's own culture for granted or Eurocentric ethnocentrism by only recognizing Western aspects in schools. The results of ethnocentrism are rejection of other cultures' knowledge, impeded communication, and restricted exchange of ideas among peoples.
Liberty exhibit
San José State University's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library and History Department are presenting an exhibit called "The Price of Liberty" showcasing artifacts from one of the largest private collections of African-American military history owned by Anthony Powell, chronicling Black service since the Civil War. The display will be open in the Cultural Heritage Center of the library from February 1-29, 2012 with an opening ceremony on February 3rd from noon to 1:30pm that is open to the public with refreshments provided.

It developed from early travelers' accounts, through colonialism-era armchair anthropology, to the professional fieldworkers who established key methods. Franz Boas conducted salvage ethnography of Indigenous groups, establishing participant observation. Bronislaw Malinowski's work in Papua New Guinea developed this method and structural functionalism. Their work established ethnography as the primary research method in cultural anthropology.

A. Info research analysis
The general purpose of the speech was to inform people about the civil injustice being done against the African American community in the United States. The specific purpose of the speech was to portray to the audience how an innocent 14-year old black boy suffered in the hands of the South Carolina State law enforcing officers. He was falsely accused of killing two white girls and electrocuted within two months after conviction.
I decided the topic of my speech after perusing through all the suggested topics ad found that the story of George Stinney Jr. was touching and emotional entirely.
This topic benefits the audience and the society in general by giving them an insight of the cruelty that the American law system has against the African American community. The audience gets to know how the shady investigations were done with claims that George had pleaded guilty to the charges of murder when there was no real evidence tying him to the crime or a signed plea agreement.
The alternative view that I found in the research was the version of the investigating officer of the case who claimed that the 14-year old boy managed to kill two girls aged 11 and 7 with a blunt object and ditch them in a nearby trench. This alternative point of view did not make sense because it is hard for a 14-year old boy to use the force that was reported by postmortem results to kill the girls. Therefore, I knew everything was a lie and I had to take the point of view of George’s innocence.

---Since children spend a considerable part of the day at school under the influence of American
culture, they will adopt different cultural values the longer they have been in an American
school. This makes it hard, even within one particular group, to develop an ethnography for
Latino American children. Young children who spend most of their time at home cannot be
compared with their older siblings who spend much of their day outside of the home where they
come under the influence of the broader American culture. In poorer communities, children
spend less time at school, and more time at home or working, so they spend less time in an
environment conducible to American culturalization.
Poverty can restrict access to mainstream resources for some Latino children. The nature of
socialization and culturally variable parenting is strongly influenced by socioeconomic
conditions, and cultural forces interact with parental pressures, behaviors, and developmental
processes that program the daily lives of children in different cultural communities (Delgado-
Gaitan, p. 56). Cultural differences such as religion, moral values, recreation, and education are
also reflected in childrearing practices, whereas the age, gender, and social behavior of children
have influenced the process of socialization (Delgado-Gaitan, p. 56). All these factors must be
taken into account in developing an ethnology of a particular group.
When all of the above factors are taken into account, it is still difficult to define \"American
Culture\" as a specific entity, and also even to define a \"Latino child\". Without these it is
impossible to develop an ethnology. Ethnologies were first developed for primitive cultures.

Cell Therapy Expansion and Challenges in Autoimmune Disease
There is increasing confidence that cell therapies will soon play a role in the treatment of autoimmune disorders, but the extent of this impact remains to be seen. Early readouts on autologous CAR-Ts in lupus are encouraging, but manufacturing and cost limitations are likely to restrict access to highly refractory patients. Allogeneic CAR-Ts have the potential to broaden access to earlier lines of treatment due to their inherent cost benefits, however they will need to demonstrate comparable or improved efficacy to established modalities.
In addition to infrastructure and capacity constraints, CAR-Ts face a very different risk-benefit dynamic in autoimmune compared to oncology, highlighting the need for tolerable therapies with low adverse event risk. CAR-NK and Treg-based therapies are also being developed in certain autoimmune disorders and may demonstrate favorable safety profiles. Several novel non-cell therapies such as bispecific antibodies, nanobodies, and RNAi drugs, may also offer future alternative competitive solutions with variable value propositions.
Widespread adoption of cell therapies will not only require strong efficacy and safety data, but also adapted pricing and access strategies. At oncology-based price points, CAR-Ts are unlikely to achieve broad market access in autoimmune disorders, with eligible patient populations that are potentially orders of magnitude greater than the number of currently addressable cancer patients. Developers have made strides towards reducing cell therapy COGS while improving manufacturing efficiency, but payors will inevitably restrict access until more sustainable pricing is achieved.
Despite these headwinds, industry leaders and investors remain confident that cell therapies are poised to address significant unmet need in patients suffering from autoimmune disorders. However, the extent of this impact on the treatment landscape remains to be seen, as the industry rapidly approaches an inflection point.

Overall life span (LS) was 1671.7±1721.6 days and cumulative 5YS reached 62.4%, 10 years – 50.4%, 20 years – 44.6%. 94 LCP lived more than 5 years without cancer (LS=2958.6±1723.6 days), 22 – more than 10 years (LS=5571±1841.8 days). 67 LCP died because of LC (LS=471.9±344 days). AT significantly improved 5YS (68% vs. 53.7%) (P=0.028 by log-rank test). Cox modeling displayed that 5YS of LCP significantly depended on: N0-N12, T3-4, blood cell circuit, cell ratio factors (ratio between cancer cells-CC and blood cells subpopulations), LC cell dynamics, recalcification time, heparin tolerance, prothrombin index, protein, AT, procedure type (P=0.000-0.031). Neural networks, genetic algorithm selection and bootstrap simulation revealed relationships between 5YS and N0-12 (rank=1), thrombocytes/CC (rank=2), segmented neutrophils/CC (3), eosinophils/CC (4), erythrocytes/CC (5), healthy cells/CC (6), lymphocytes/CC (7), stick neutrophils/CC (8), leucocytes/CC (9), monocytes/CC (10). Correct prediction of 5YS was 100% by neural networks computing (error=0.000; area under ROC curve=1.0).
