PURPOSE SCOURING CUM SWELLING
MACHINE JET / JIGGER
SUBSTRATE POLYESTER
OPERATIONAL SEQUENCE
S.No. Sequence
1 Take water in Jet machine.
2 Load the grey fabric
3 Raise the temperature to 55 –60°C
4 Add RAN-SC-1094 (P), 0.3 – 1.0% (2 gpl – 10 gpl) on weight of fabric
(dilute before use at temperature 55-60°C)
5 Raise the temperature of machine upto 75 – 95°C (depending upon fabric
quality)
6 Run for 20 – 25 minutes at temperature 75-95°C
7 Cool the bath to 50°C
8 Add Caustic + Soda Ash + Hydrogen peroxide
9 Raise the temperature to 90-130°C and run for 15 – 60 minutes, for fabric
to be processed for weight reduction raise the temperature to required
level then cool the bath and drain the liquor.
10 Cold wash
11 Neutralize with acid and 0.2 – 0.4% (0.2 – 0.4gpl) of RAN-SC-1094 (P)
12 Raise the temperature to 60-80°C and run for 10-20 minutes.
13 Drain the liquor
14 Hot wash for 15 minutes.
15 Cold wash for 15 minutes
16 Fabric is ready for dyeing
