BRIEF PROFESSIONAL JOB SPECIFICATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES CARRIED OUT.
I have worked around 25 years and in different company’s In India and overseas and have versatile techno
commercial experience. Also I am a certified welding inspector and have NDT knowledge.
1. ORSON ELECTRONICS LTD. (Working Period : 5 years)
In Orson I was working in Junior Position as a Mechanical Draftsman in R & D Department. Orson was
having technically collaboration with ‘SONY’ Corporation Japan. Orson was to manufactures TV,
Audio, Washing Machines etc. In R & D we used to Develop Mechanical Parts like press parts, Plastic
Components, Cabinets etc. After local developed part we use to send these parts to SONY, Japan, for
approval and after SONY’s approval we used to implement these parts to shop floor, for this I used to
do drawing and inspection work. I worked around 5 years in this company. In February, 1990 due to
some internal problem company was locked out. Then I joined Ferriplant and then Press Metal.
2. PRESS METAL CORPORATION. (Working Period : 1 ½ years)
Basically I was working in design department. I was looking after press tool designs like cutting,
embossing, piercing and blanking dies. Press metal business was manufacturing cold rolled items and
section for automobile industries and buildings. For this I used to prepare drawings for Rollers,
templates to form section from plane sheet to desired section. Also I used to go to shop twice in week at
Tarapur which is 150 km away from Mumbai to attend and solve shop floor problems
In 1992 company shifted out department to Tarapur, it was difficult for me to go everyday to Tarapur
hence I left this company and joined FERRIPLANT.
4. 3. FERTIPLANT ENGG. CO. PVT. LTD. (Working Period : 12 years)
Working since 1992 as an Engg. Fertiplant manufacturers NPK Mix Fertilizer and SSP Granulation
Plants, ranging from 2.5 TPH to 20 TPH. Basically I was responsible for manufacturing machineries.
Looking after fabrication shop as well as machine shop. Granulation plant consists machineries like
Rotary Equipments, Crushers, Screen, Elevators, Belt Conveyers, Feeding Systems, & De dusting
system, chutes and ducting etc. Since this medium scale company I used to look after Inspection Work,
Vendor Development, and small amount of purchase activities also.
As I did Diploma in Central Excise Course, I used to look after for preparing dispatch documents like
Packing List, Invoices, AR4, Delivery Challans etc. I used to look after packing and dispatch of
machineries, which includes factory stuffing as well as doc stuffing.
Since 1994 Company has given me additional responsibilities of Erection & Commissioning of plants.
After manufacturing and dispatching of plant company used to depute me for erection and
commissioning of the plant. I was involved for manufacturing more than 10 plants of
different3capacities. Also carried out 2 NPK and 3 SSP Granulation plant erection and commissioning
in India and 1 NPK plant erection in Indonesia.
Company used to supply spares like gear, riding rings, trunion etc. I was involved for providing tech
services for plants modification, plant renovation, repairing and erection work on demand from clients
like BAYER INDIA, DMCC etc.
Fertiplant manufacturer Ball Mills, Rotary Kilns, Sand Washing Plant, conveying systems and other
allied equipments. I was looking after manufacturing and inspection work.
We do inspection work as per standards & specs. Maintain fits and tolerances as per IS standards.
4. PT SENTANA ADIDAYA PRATAMA( INDONESIA) A division, Wilmer group of co.
SINGAPORE .(Working period 2 years.)
Actually this NPK granulation plant was supplied by my previous company. I had been there for
Erection and commissioning of the plant in Indonesia, Dumai, Sumatra. After that company gave me
opportunity to work to look after maintenance of the plant. Before I join production was never more
than 4000 ton /month and there were frequent breakdowns. After studying properly and finding
bottlenecks we could cross prod +11000 ton /month and reduced breakdowns.
After the plant is well set I was promoted as project superintendent to look after new coming up liquid
base NPK granulation Plant which was based on Spanish technology.
5. AL Hassan Engg co. SAOG…Oman.( Working Period 1 year.)
It’s multi discipline construction Engg. company. In my presence we commissioned 1000 tpd PP plan
with joint venture LG Koria at Sohar, Oman. I was looking after piping/eqipt insp and hydo testing.
Since I am CWI so I was looking after welding inspection activities and preparing test packs. After
completion this project I was transferred to 240 mega watt power project supplied by BHEL and the
client was PDO to look after erection and inspection activities. I Recd certificate from PDO.
6. SITSON INDIA PVT. LTD. (WORKING PERIOD 1 ½ YEAR ).
5. In this company I was working as a works manager and looking after works activities. Also controlling
stores, admin and dispatch activities. Sitson manufactures pressure boilers of various capacities
ranging from 10 to 100 ton capacity and about 80 bar pressure on turn key basis. Boilers manufactures
as per IBR regulations and I used to coordinate with Boiler inspector for the approval of equipments
like steam drum, water drum, panels, headers pipe lines, air pre heaters as a pressure parts. Also I was
responsible for mfgrs other equipments like traveling grate, dumping grate, economizer casing, feeding
equipments like pneumatic spreaders, coal feeders etc. Ducting, expansion bellow, chimany, blowers,
ESP, dampers, structure also is the part of boilers and we used to manufacture in house.
7. AARYAN ENGINEERING PVT LTD.
After my Hand recovery and doing freelancing work as Inspection and supervision activities took
opportunity to serve for Aaryan engineering Pvt Ltd as a Manager Operations and worked from
July 2011 to January 2013. Aaryan is in the business of Manufacturing of process equipments,
spares supply and projects mainly for paint Industries. I was looking after All operations
activities and was mainly responsible for process equipments like ball mill, container mixer, pug
mixer, reactors, various type of tanks ranging from 100 ltr to 25 kl in M.S and SS. Utilised my
experience and knowledge for minimum wastage and making more profit.
8. MKA ENGINEERS & EXPORTERS PVT. LTD.
Joined MKA Enggs as Production Manager, Company’s stake holders are Indian and Australian.
Main business we get from Australia. Company’s core business is Fabrication and hot deep
galvanizing items and supply to Australia for power projects. The new product we started is UTE
tray for pick up vans and our customers are Toyota, Land cruzer, Ford etc. We fabricate whole
body using Jig and Fixtures then do de burring to maintain fabrication quality of international
standard. Then do CED operation, then Painting and powder coating as per the customers
requirement. Around 100 to 150 ute tray we use to mfgrs and 5 to 8 containers/Month export to
Australia.
The whole business was on quality and we had to maintain quality of international standard. It’s
become a Culture to maintain Production Targets with quality. Learned lot of things about
Painting and Powder coating Technology and maintained standard like company Toyota and
Ford ranger.
