Toys "R" Us is the leading toy and juvenile-products retailer head-quartered in Wayne, New Jersey,
United States.
I have been working on Workforce Scheduling application as a Production Support Engineer.
Workforce Scheduling (WFS) application, a third-party application tool owned by Reflexis Inc., is
used by ToysRus tomanage labour allocation for their respective stores and creating various reports
based on actual hours, sales and payroll. It gives retailers complete control over budgeting,
forecasting, and scheduling store labour, ensuring efficient operations, on-time task execution, and
consistent levels of customer service. As a result, stores generate more sales while using labour
dollars more effectively, leading to increased profitability and growth.
Responsibilities
 Production support and Maintaining Production environments and its databases
 Automatic Reports generation for the Business team and other stake-holders as per requirements by
developing UNIX Scripts and scheduling Autosys jobs to run the script.
 Job/batch and application process monitoring.
 Creating UNIX scripts and strategically, scheduling the jobs according to user requirements, to obtain
the best result, avoiding any issues.
 Resolve technical issues/concerns raised by end users, and provide solutions to their
queries/incidents.
 Daily batch jobs status report preparation and mailing it across the interested stakeholders and risk
managers’ SharePoint by UNIX Script automation.
 Raising Major Incidents in case of any SLA breach and application failures.

The system has been ingeniously developed keeping into consideration all the aspects that are required by
customers, starting from the process of buying/cancelling the plan for the broadband service to the
creating automated bill generation after the end of month.
The tool has been tested rigorously to provide effective results.
