Universal Rate Server FE is a centralized server used by Regional Treasury to provide online
Foreign Exchange rates to all the countries supported by Regional Treasury. This server will run
independently providing online FX rates from Reuters directly to the URS BE and TCON
instances of different countries. All the rates will be quoted against USD and in JPY for JAPAN.
All system events will be logged and an audit trail of user maintenance will be available. Option
Pricer is the module in URS which helps in pricing the PA/PD booking by different systems.

Description –
It is a web-based application for Structured Products, Investment Banking. Equity Accumulator is
a strategy, which comprises of a series of Forward contracts (Put and Call (with Knock-Out)
Options) to enable a client to accumulate a long position for a specific number of an underlying
security, at a predetermined price (Accumulating Forward Price - AFP), which is lower than the
spot price on the trade date, but for Decumulators the condition is opposite,i.e.the price
(Decumulating Forward Price - DFP is higher than the spot price on the trade date. This product
automation is aimed to support the Security Dealing Desk, Treasury Operations and Security
Operations Unit. Security Dealers are benefited for deal booking, for automatic generation of
TIPS once the deal is booked and for auto knock outs of trades once the Day Closing prices (Daily
loaded from Bloomberg) reaches at or above the Knock-Out level. As back-end system, it
provides a link to Treasury Operations for client confirmation and Statement. For Securities
Operations it has Straight Through Process (STP) to Regional Security Finance System (RSFS) for
physical delivery of security settlements (either for End of Observation periods i.e., Settlement
period or for Deal Knock out settlements).
