Hobbies and Interests
I am an active, licensed radio amateur and have been since 1982, with a particular interest in antenna
design. I enjoy playing the guitar and have bass, acoustic, 12 String and steel strung acoustic guitars, as well
as keyboards and a violin, and will often sing while I am playing. During the summer I paint still life and
landscapes with oils and I am also a keen gardener (fruit and vegetables) and enjoy baking. I read a lot of
books (I am a collector of the works of Terry Pratchett) and have written a total of four short stories which
have been published for e-reader. Periodically I will also sculpt in modelling clay.
