This document outlines a 5-day lesson plan for teaching 9th grade science students about radioactivity. The students are diverse in terms of race, gender, and learning abilities. Over the 5 days, students will learn about radioactive decay processes and history, half-life, uses of radioactivity, and participate in a radioactive robotics activity. A variety of technologies are used including YouTube, podcasts, Excel, WebQuests, and social media to engage students and check their understanding.
