Located, checked in and pulled medical records for appointments and incomplete
patient charts.
Facilitated organized record retrieval and access by maintaining filing system for
both in-house and discharged residents.
Assisted doctors with incomplete records via either faxing to their offices, assisting
on the electronic medical records systems and assisting them on paper medical
records.
In charge of the medical records suspension process which including the following :
Calling doctors offices, printing & stuffing suspension letters, faxing suspension
letters to the doctors offices,suspended doctors via the hospital suspension systems
and verifying all incomplete information before sending suspension notifications to
the doctors. Working closely with auxiliary departments in regards to the doctors
medical records suspension.
The main birth certificate register clerk for 10 yrs. I oversaw the birth certificates on
the old state DOS system, then completed the state required training on the current
electronic birth certificate system, which then I trained other employees on the
