4. What we would like
» Change in workflow so that DMP can be stored/made public or restricted access – options for
researchers to make it available to others & giving consent e.g. research office; funder; service
manager and shared access & use in a db
» DMP should output machine readable and consistent where applicable to allow for aggregation e.g.
amount of data to be created i.e. Gb or file formats against PRONOM – trigger actions for researcher
or the service manager
» DMP to be live (different versions could be a possibility across the lifecycle) grant submission version
should be updated until the end of the project – this could help autofill ingest for example
repositories could draw on data from DMPs e.g. date created , access , licensing , embargoed etc.
» Live & machine readable DMP’s to inform RDM reporting on compliance and pipeline to feed into
dashboards
» Improvements for UX for researchers
