 “As a Project Manager for Barry, Bette & Led Duke I met Rob Gray as the
Project Coordinator for the Additions and Alterations for the Jail, as well as the
construction of the Social Services Building. The coordination meetings were
“chaired” by Rob. He adopted a format that allowed each contractor to be a
contributor to the meetings. I believe this makes the “project” flow together instead
of each contractor acting as a separate entity. It gives the project all the benefits of
the concept of “Partnering” without many of the drawbacks and expenses usually
associated with this technique. In Rob’s position, one cannot ride upon his laurels.
