The document contains answers to a questionnaire from a group that visited the United Kingdom from Slovenia. They found the preschool and school system to be a bit different than in Slovenia but enjoyed seeing the different approach. The hosts were very welcoming and arranged a varied program for them. They observed many school and preschool activities efficiently during their time and met all the staff and children. One thing they liked most about how children are taught in England is that they are left alone to find solutions and be creative. The group was very satisfied with the program and meeting the culture, finding the people to be very friendly and hosts. They regretted not having enough time and would like to return to experience more of England.

1. QUESTIONNARE ANSWERS – UNITED KINGDOM (Slovenia )
1. Yes, we enjoyed visiting United Kingdom and it was interesting to see their's way of
preeschool and school teaching and whole school sistem. It is a little bit different as ours.
Our hosts were very hospitable and the prepared programme was varied.
2. Every activities during the meeting were held efficient, timing organization was optimal and
we saw a lot of school and preschool activities. We met all staff and children, who guide us
around the school and present their classes.
In spite of all we didn't have enough time to present our activities of project on powerpoint
presentation, so we will do it in Poland.
3. We were thrilled how confident and social are english children, which can be seen from
way of working with them and how the school sistem is directed.
We visited the private and superior nursery school, which was interesting for us. We
couldn't amazed their's way of teaching children and couraging them for being
independent. Children can walk around the whole house and do everything they decide to
do, but for help, support and safety is in every room for at least one teacher or teacher's
asistent. They can create their's own life in kindregarten.
4. Way of working with children in England, that we like the most and we would like to put in
our sistem, is to leave children alone to find a solutions and be creative.
5. We were very satisfied with programme, meeting with culture, how friendly and hostable
the people are, in fact the whole meeting in United Kingdom.
There is one thing we regret. It wasn't enough time to feel more England, so we must to
come back next March!
