There are no death taxes in Ontario, despite what some funeral directors claim. The only payment required is the estate administration tax, also known as probate fees, which have existed since 1935. This tax is paid only on assets listed in a will that require a Certificate of Appointment of Estate Trustee and is calculated based on the value of those assets. Some funeral directors are incorrectly telling customers the tax must be paid within 90 days of death, but it is actually due 90 days from the date the certificate is issued by the court, giving the estate trustee time to gather information and value assets.

- 1. Since creating my school magazine my knowledge of using all the different types of technologies and programs has increased considerably. An example of this is that I now know how to use the smudge tool to blend pictures into the background. I also learnt how to select different parts of a photo using the quick selection tool so that I may cut it out and put a new background on my picture. I also learnt how to upload things on my blog and how to create a blog profile. Overall my understanding of the software has improved a lot throughout this project as at the start I barely new how to do anything in these programs including Photoshop and now I have produced a professional looking music magazine by using it.
