2. Software which I used :
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe InDesign
• Prezi

3. This allowed me to be able to past images
into the boxes. This allowed my structure
to work properly.
In design (Id) allowed me to create the basic
layout. This allowed me to see what structures
worked properly. I used the boxes to be able to
put the different aspects towards my magazine.
I had never experimented with
InDesign before this course. I used
it for my contents page and
double page spread layout. I found
it very useful for layering,
columns and text effects. I
experimented with different text
effects –especially on my contents
page.

4. Here I used photo shop to create and edit
my sign. This allowed me to look at more
contrasting ideas.
This allowed my magazine to look more professional and also as I hadn’t used photo shop before I
had to become comfortable using the different tools. As this allowed me to come up with more
complex designs.
Skills I have learnt include:
• Monochrome filtering
• Brightness & contrast
• Eraser tool (used for
neatening up edges of
photos or deleting
background)
• Cutting out
• Blur tool
• Blend/ softening tool
• Drop shadow tool
• Layers As I went through
the course, I became more
and more confident using
these different tools

5. This allowed me to either brightness, saturation and the levels of
the picture. This allowed me to crop they image to get rid of the
background then I used (Id) In design to clip round the background
using clipping path.

6. I used (Id) In design to create my magazine as it
allowed me to do most of my editing also It allowed me
to create my contents, double spread by using layers. I
also learnt how to do columns when doing my double
page spread this helped with my article as it gave my
magazine format.
It also allowed me to insert texts and be able to change
they font ,format and size.

7. Prezi
Prezi allowed me to create visual PowerPoints to be able to evaluate my
magazine. However on some computer Prezi would not upload pictures
which enabled me to uses it inside of school.
