Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

software's as part of a group this presentation explains why I
used each of the software's for my own ancillary tasks and how
they have helped me through my creative process.

After Effects
Shafia and I used Premier Pro in order to upload text to our trailer, this was
helpful to provide captions an credits. I also thought it was easy to use and it
allowed me to put the text into a composition of where I want the text to appear
on the video clip. You can also add transitions, we chose the typewriter effect as
it looked romantic and was used in the proposal film trailer as mentioned in
question one.

Microsoft word allowed me to create documents of information. I used Microsoft
work in order to create the editing log. I have used this software throughout my high
school and college education so I already knew how to use it effectively.

Microsoft Powerpoint allowed me to create basic presentations. I think that it is
easy to use and it is a great way to share information as the slides separate
various aspects of information regarding different subjects. I also used it to create
my auditions poster by adding text and and images and putting them in to a
creative composition.

Smore was a website that helped me to create a presentation for my equipment and
software list for my film poster and film magazine.

YouTube was extremely helpful for my coursework this year as is not only allowed
me to research how to use programs it also allowed me to upload my audience
feedback videos and embed them onto my blog. I used YouTube to find out how to
use garage band and how to apply a flawless makeup look on to the models.

Mail App And Voice Memos App
As the voices of the characters were very muffled on the original recording Shafia and I
decided to use the voice memos app to record all of the script again and then later add
the clips to premier pro and add them to the trailer so that sound was loud and clear.
The mail app helped me to send the voice notes from my phone onto the computer.

Solvr allowed me to create a conversation between Jenny, Shafia and I. This website
let us decided weather our comments were ideas, problems or general comments,
this made it easier for all of us to understand each others view points and take them
into account when making initial decisions regarding our courswork.

The pic collage app was a really easy way to create collages, so I used it to create
collages of existing media products to help me with my production of my film poster
and magazine. You simply choose from pictures from your camera roll and put then
into a composition on the page.

Video FX Live App
The video FX live app was an app that I used before I started media just to record
videos in separate arts. It simply lets you record one clip then pause it then you can
carry on recording. I thought it would be a good idea to use this whilst videoing my
audition and audience feedback videos. It also allows you to add colour effects to the
videos.

Screen Shot Feature For I Phone
This image shows how I have used the screenshot feature for IPhone to take pictures
of images online and upload them to my blog. This is a really helpful feature as you
can push both of the buttons shown down and it will take a picture of whatever is on
your screen and it will go straight onto your camera roll. I have used the screenshot
feature to take the pictures of all of my social networking posts shown on the gif I
have placed onto my blog post for question four.

The App Store has allowed me to download apps such as pic collage and
Pinterest, which have helped me to produce research and planning.

I used the notes app to write down audience feedback questions, then I copied and

I used premier pro to edit our trailer as I have already explained with my peers. It
allowed me to cut clips, edit the sound and colour of the clips and many other
features. As I didn’t use this programme last year I feel that I have gain an extreme
amount of knowledge of how to use this software and I feel confident in editing
videos.

I have used garage band to create the soundtrack for our trailer, I used the loops
feature and it was really easy to use I simply dragged my desired sounds and placed
them onto the document. I could suspend the sounds, add sound effects and even
put my trailer onto the program so that I could see if the music fit in with the scenes of
double take. As we have shown on the Ishowu. We also added some voice over parts
by simply using the record feature.

Voice thread is an online website that let me upload my recordings off my phone
and add them onto our Premier Pro, I also used this for my sound test to check if it
created high quality sound. You could also record your voice using the website.

many other tools allowed me to edit and create a composition. I could insert images
and text. Again I used this last year for as however I feel even more confident with
