1. Construction
For my video production work I used the Panasonic HD DV camera I
found the camera useful however my Technological determinism was
restricted I for the many different settings that the camera has which
also restricted my creativity as my understanding of the media
product was fairly basic as me and my colleague kept the automatic
settings and did not adjust any as there were many different effects
that I could of used within my final video but was restricted due to
my knowledge.
I USED THE Nikon D60 Dslr to take pictures for my digipac and advert I
used portrait settings on the camera as my knowledge of this particular
piece of equipment was fairly basic this restricted creativity as I was
restricted from the different effects such as lighting effects for example.

2. Construction
• The two main programmes within my main tasks were Photoshop and Adobe premier pro firstly
Photoshop was used for my print work. I found Photo shop fairly easy to use as I have used it in the
previous years at college I felt I was able to work my way around the programme and do exactly what i
wanted. However I found with some aspects of Photoshop especially the layers fairly difficult and felt a bit
restricted because some of my time being used for the layers when I could of been using other effects that
Photoshop have within my work. I felt as if my creativity was restricted as I had ideas that I wanted to use
within my work put couldn't do it due to not knowing the programme as well as I could technological
determinism definitely was the case in terms of using programmes such as Photoshop and Adobe premier
pro were concerned.

4. Research and Planning
• Within my video I also used media 2.0 technologies such as YouTube I decided to take a
different approach within my shot list and decided to make an animated version of my
shot list so I matched my drawings up with the video by using Adobe premier pro and
then uploaded it onto YouTube. I uploaded it onto YouTube so that my audience could
view my work and see how my video may look and they had the option of adding
suggestions and feedback. This is very useful as you are getting valuable feedback from
your potential target audience
