EVALUATION
 QUESTION 3
A visual representation of our audience feedback. We developed an anonymous questionnaire and invited the audience to score
aspects of our media product out of 10. The larger the segment, the stronger the audience believed the aspect to be, and vice
versa.
Analysis of Pie Chart and results

The questionnaire feedback from our sample showed us exactly what was effective and
what was not. If we could change certain aspects based on this feedback, it would
certainly be the narrative of the video, which shared the highest amount of bad feedback
with variety of shot and performance. Our narrative was basically non-existant because
we felt that there didn't have to be a conventional narrative for a video like ours, which
is why our narrative was very loosely constructed and required the audience to draw their
own conclusion about the meaning of the video. On the subject of variety of shot, we felt
that our video needed to stick to a certain style, and as our shots of nature etc. were
punctuated with lip sync and the aforementioned loose narrative, we feel as though the
shots were varied enough, although the whole video may look dreary, this was the chosen
colour palette to bring meaning from the song, and was very much intentional. In the way
of performance, our actors pulled out at last minute and we had to perform ourselves. If
we were able to do this project again, we'd certainly organise our actors better to ensure
a better performance and someone who could definitely do it.
Youtube Comment Feedback

We got a few comments on the Youtube post of the video, this one came from
a media student in Berlin. She seemed to really enjoy the video and praised the
shots where we had placed the camera on the turntable.
In Conclusion, Next Time
Next time round, if we got another chance to complete this same
project we would have used more varied shot types, perhaps creating
more meaningful and inventive shots like our “turntable shot” and
perhaps varying the colour palette.

We would have also developed a better, more meaningful narrative,
something more in tune with the themes of the track's lyrics; all the
while not losing the ambiguity that we needed for the style of the
video.

Finally we would organise our actors better and choose people who
would be a lot more reliable in terms of showing up on the day, and
checking that the actors were definitely not busy. This would assure
us a better performance overall.
