1. Question 2:How does your magazine product represent particular social groups?
2. The font cover of my media magazine fits the social group of teenagers that enjoy the discovery of music and also like to know the gossip of new bands and artists.
3. On my front cover I used a female that is wearing a green top hat that had a tiara on the front, the reason I chose this is because it has a connotation of ‘The princess of rock’ the tiara as the ‘Princess’ section and the ‘Rock’ as the top hat. I used a black background because many Q magazines use it to make the model stand out from the background and have all the focus on the model.
4. My audience representation is the most important part of making this magazine, I have to have my audience in mind whilst doing the front cover, contents and the double page, I have to think about would I read this? Would I want to pick this up if it was in a shop? There are many questions I had to ask myself just to make sure it fitted my audience representation.
5. The colours and layout was also important. I had to take many pictures and make the models give the body language I needed them to, luckily they did. I used the same ages I wanted the target audience to be ages between 15- 20.
