4. RESULTS
From doing this it really allowed us to understand our primary
and target audience. We then used this information to
understand the social groups of our audience.
For example, gender, age and race. The main actors of our
film are white British but are male and female. Also the film
will cast other actors for subplots and extras from other
ethnic backgrounds.
5. STEREOTYPES AND CAMERA ANGLES
Within our film we have ‘stereotypical white British gang members’ attempting to
pull of a bank robbery. However we included a twist as the leader of the gang is a
empowering respected girl.
During the filming, we also included a variety of shots; High angel shots, low
angel shots, hand held shots, shots on go pros and first person shots. We believe
this will help to add variety into the film and we will be able to play with what
type of shot to use ( weather it is a fast pace scene or just a normal conversation.
6. COSTUME
Within our media, we include clothing that typical gang members would wear, ski
masks, black jackets/ hoodies , black jeans and jogging bottoms. Even though
we have a female gang leader she wears the same clothing as the boys to show
she is nothing less than them. The all black appearance is also suitable as it
prevents being seen in dark areas.
We also chose this clothing as all the gang members will be running in one scene
so we needed to make sure the clothing was suitable and that appropriate
footwear was worn.
