 We ended up having a
character with similar sense
of humour to Peter Parker, but
with not enough seriousness
to fulfil his role as an
empowered secret agent.
Representation His gaze represents his
concern as to what may have
just happened, our group
feels as though he should be
more in control than he
actually is in this scene.

 We’ve justified this element to
Lucas’ character because our
film also has a drama element
to it, meaning that he is
allowed to break the normal
‘hard’ guy stereotype of the
action hero in action films.

 His running scenes are
however very stereotypical of
the action hero running to the
rescue.
