• It is the assurance to customers that the
parts, products, tools etc…
• It is determining the procedures to be used of
regular checks or tests.
• In today’s world quality is most essential
among the competitors.
• It is not a responsibility of a single person but
everybody connected with the production.
FORMS OF QUALITY ASSURANCE
1. Quality Audit:
- Quality reviewer called auditor.
- It is used by companies to evaluate their own
quality performance, suppliers, licenses, agents,
and other regulatory agencies.
2. Quality surveys:
- Quality audit is not sufficient to top management.
- Analysis of users, Situation with that links
- Employees perception on quality
- Market conditions
3. Product Audit:
- It is an independent evaluation of the product.
- It takes place only to the product
specifications.
- Providing regular inspection.
- Good will can be created to the customers.
- Providing additional assurance beyond the
routine inspection activities.
- Improves the product efficient.
