The 5S methodology involves sorting, straightening, shining, standardizing, and sustaining a clean and organized work environment. It was applied to the street outside a college by removing unnecessary items, arranging remaining items in a clear order, maintaining clean streetlights and signage, standardizing recreational areas and monitoring, and sustaining the organized system over time. Implementing 5S made tasks simpler and less complicated, allowing work to be done in a more efficient manner without wasted time.
