conventions of real media products?
3. • Our film challenges forms and conventions of real films as we
use non-diegetic sound without any dialogue, breaking the
modern thriller conventions, we also do this by filming at an
urban setting and not at an isolated setting like most thriller
genres. However we develop real film conventions by
adapting to certain clichés matching our thriller genre such as
establishing a church scene and filming in low-key lighting
with eerie sound creating a nail-biting audience.
