Your media product uses forms and conventions from real media in several ways. It employs traditional tense horror music like heartbeat sounds and loud sudden noises to set the atmosphere for viewers. The use of the heartbeat sound specifically was developed from the iconic Jaws theme music from one of the films you analyzed. You also developed the idea of rapidly increasing non-diegetic sound to build tension in your film.

• My film uses traditional tense horror music such
as the heartbeat sound and loud sudden sounds
to set an atmosphere for the audience.
• The idea of the heartbeat sound was developed
from the well known jaws music which is from
one of the films I analysed. I developed the idea
of rapidly accelerating non-diegetic sound to
build tension
