Together with the Prince William Area
Agency on Aging, the Prince William
Chamber will host Transitions, the sec-
ond annual Informational Expo on Aging
Gracefully. The 2015 Transitions exposition
will showcase products, resources, and ser-
vices to assist senior citizens, their families,
and their caregivers in the planning and
managing of the aging process. Workshop
topics range from protecting against Medi-
care fraud to fall prevention and exercise for se-
niors: Rosemari Walker of the Prince William
Area Agency on Aging will present Medicare
101, Kay Bransford of MemoryBanc will present
Alzheimer’s Disease & Dimentia, Rich Gow of
Lara, May & Associates, LLC will present Finan-
cial Planning: Preparing for the Golden Years,
and Dr. David Ebbecke and Dr. Jessica Beech of
Piedmont Physical Therapy will present Exercise
for the Aging Adult. This year’s Transitions Ex-
position will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015,
from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Continental Event
Center located at 9705 Liberia Ave. #101 in

information session about
bolstering Virginia’s, Prince
William County’s and the
Cities of Manassas and
Manassas Park’s economic
competitiveness in the face
of increasing global com-
petition. The program will
begin with a comprehensive
and state-wide initiative, set forth by Barry Du-
Val, President and CEO of the Virginia Chamber
of Commerce, who is the keynote speaker for the
upcoming panel. Barry DuVal’s comprehensive
Blueprint Virginia initiative will be the subject
of the keynote address. Dr. Annie Hunt Burriss,
CEO of the George Mason University, Science
and Technology Campus, will moderate the panel
and Dr. David Wu, Provost and Executive Vice
President of Academic Affairs at George Mason
University, will introduce the panelists. The pan-
elists will include Dr. Scott Martin of the Virginia
Serious Gaming Institute, Ross Dunlap of Ceres
Nanosciences, Dr. Sam Hill, Provost of North-
ern Virginia Community College’s Woodbridge
Campus, speaker for the Regional Center for
Workforce Education and Training, and Delegate
Jackson Miller, who will speak about the North-
ern Virginia Veteran Care Center. The event will
be held at the Hylton Performing Arts Center,
10960 George Mason Circle in Manassas on
Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m.
