Catholic Charities To Host Inaugural Street Fair for Local Families
(Fresno, Calif.) On Saturday, May 27, Catholic Charities will host its inaugural street
fair at its facility in Downtown Fresno (N Fulton St. and in between E Voorman Ave.
and E Nevada Ave.) from 4 -9 p.m.This free event will be the first for the non-profit
organization and will include games, food and entertainment for the children and
parents.
The Catholic Charities Street Fair is a celebration of the facility and the families it
helps every single day. The street fair will create a safe environment for the families
in the downtown area.
Admission into the street fair is free. There will be free parking alongside the facility
as well as inside the parking lot. Food, clothes and other donations will be accepted
in exchange for tickets to play games. There will also be food vendors, live
entertainment and tables out to provide families with more information about the
organization’s services.

“Just like our motto says, we advocate and empower those in need,” said Jody
Hudson, Catholic Charities’ Operations and Marketing Director. “We love being there
for our clients, and we want them to know that we’ll always be here if they ever need
anything. This fair was planned to bring everyone from the area together at our
facility for a fun-filled Saturday night.”
Volunteers from middle schools, high schools and local colleges are expected to
lend a helping hand from the very beginning with set-up up until the very end with
clean-up.
