The 7Rivers Alliance is announcing new events for 2015 under their new Executive Director Lisa Herr. The events include a Recruiting and Retaining High Tech Talent event in February focusing on talent pipelines and retention strategies. In June, a Site Selection Summit will bring together economic developers and site selection consultants to discuss creative incentive packages. A Regional Tourism Series will include three seminars in March, April, and May focusing on agri-tourism, historic tourism, and creative tourism trends to promote local communities.

7 Rivers Alliance announces Upcoming Events for 2015
La Crosse, WI. The 7Rivers Alliance is pleased to announce new events throughout
2015 under the direction of new Executive Director, Lisa Herr, Ed.D.
The upcoming events for next year include: Recruiting and Retaining High Tech Talent, a
Regional Tourism Series, and a Site Selection Summit. Designed for business and
community leaders, each event will share best practices that can be readily adapted in the
region.
Recruiting and Retaining High Tech Talent
At the Radisson Hotel La Crosse on February 18, 2015
from 7:30 to 11:30am leaders will explore best practices
and innovative strategies for creating a talent pipeline and
retaining the talent that they have. Successful business
and higher education partnerships will be showcased as
well as worker retention
packages.
Site Selection Summit
Economic development professionals will meet with site selection
consultants on June 11, 2015 from 9 am to 12 pm at Onalaska
City Hall, Onalaska, WI, and learn about creative incentive
packages for locating new business and expanding businesses in
the region.
Regional Tourism Series
The Regional Tourism Series will include three seminars within Wisconsin and Minnesota
that showcase each travel trend and strategies for promoting the uniqueness of a
community. The Agri-Tourism seminar will be held in Viroqua, WI on March 26, 2015. The
Historic-Tourism seminar will be held on April 9, 2015 in Prairie du Chien, WI. The Creative
Tourism seminar will be held in Winona, MN on April 23, 2015. More information on
