Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) resin is the homopolymer of Vinylidene Fluoride. PVDF is a polymeric
material with high dielectric constant and displays high viscosity and bonding properties in certain
solvents. PVDF is therefore suitable as an electrode binder for Li-ion Batteries. With high viscosity in
certain solvents, PVDF can be easily processed into film by leveling. Made from virgin PVDF, properly
processed electrode of Lithium-ion Batteries shows excellent thermal resistance, outstanding chemical
resistance, high mechanical strength and good processing performance.

Packaging and Storage
• PVDF resins are sealed with two layers of polyethylene sack which are then packed in hard drums.
The net weight is 20kgs per unit.The packaging can be changed per the customer’s requirements
• PVDF should be stored in clean, cool and dry environment and to keep it away from damp and moisture
• PVDF resins are non-dangerous goods and should be kept free from wetting and shocking during transport
