By introducing the H.263 and H.264 video technologies, the H.263-based video communication between the
standard client and H.323 video endpoint may be conducted. Compared with H.261, H.263 only uses half of
the bandwidth to enable conferencing call between the standard client and H.323 video endpoint, with the
same video quality to be achieved. Featuring flexibility and bandwidth and storage space saving, H.263 not
only provides users with high quality video experiences but efficiently uses the bandwidth resources, thus
protecting users’ existing investment. Videoconferencing between standard clients can also be performed
under the H.264 mode. H.264 has very high coding efficiency, in the same image quality, it can save about 50
percent of the bit rate than H.263. The bitstream network structure of H.264 has strong adaptability, and
increases the error recovery capabilities, it also can adequately meet IP and wireless networking applications.

51. Multipoint, Full-Duplex VoIP:
With multipoint, full-duplex VOIP, PeopleLink solution enables the meeting participants at various locations
to experience the live in-person feel. Here the participants can hear other and even interrupt the speaker
(only if the participant is not muted). The participants from variant location can speak simultaneously, unlike
other conferencing solution which makes use of Simplex audio, where only one speaker can talk at a time.

9.3. Latency Test:
Latency test is used to plot the “delay” or “lag” on an
internet connection between a conference participants
and conference server. Normally cell phone latency is
200 milli-seconds if any latency beyond 200 milliseconds
is measured poor. Better conferencing can be done when
the latency is low.
9.4. Routing Test:
Routing test is conducted to conduct an analysis on the
internet route between the conference server and the
conference participant. In this test snapshots are taken at
various hops to determine the response time and to
identify where delay is arising.
10.1. Flipping Option:
The flipping option facilitates the users to flip the video to anti mirror image. Generally in any kind of video
conference, the image we see is of mirror image. In a mirror kind of image, the right hand of the opposite
person looks like left. For instance, in the fields of Telemedicine, the appearance of a video as a mirror image
creates a predicament for the surgeons who are following the video. By switching to the flipping option, the
right hand of the opposite person will appear like right and not like left.
10.2. Create Conference Rooms:

10.5. System Announcement:
System Announcement feature can be determined as an official interruption of the conference made by the
administrator. To do this the administrator will send POP-up messages to current VC participants. For
instance, in an organization a meeting is already running, and if suddenly there is a need for executing an
urgent meeting, then in such cases the administrator will send POP-up message to all the participants stating
that “please wind-up the session, there is an urgent meeting to be held”.
10.6. Roll call:
Roll call feature is generally used to demonstrate the attendance of the participants, who are logged in the
conference form variant geographies. This feature is generally used for demonstrating the attendance of the
students in e-learning sessions. All the attendance information of the participants is saved in an excel sheet.
10.7. Hand Rising:
Hand raising feature facilitates the participants, to interrupt the moderator for any doubts or clarifications. In
a physical classroom, normally the students raise their hand to ask a doubt to their trainer, in the same way
hand rising feature enables the student to interrupt the trainer for clarifying some doubts.
10.8. Pause video option:
Pause video option enables the users to pause their video during the time of the conference. This feature is
generally helpful for the users when they require a few seconds to adjust themselves or to drink water or to
move from the camera. Instead of interrupting or disturbing the entire conference the users can switch to this
option.
10.9. Desktop sharing at low bandwidth:
Desktop sharing feature enables to share the moderators desktop to all or selected participants of the
conference. Normally desktop sharing feature requires high bandwidth, in order to make use of this feature
within a minimal bandwidth, the moderator must reduce the color bits from 32 bit to 16 bit by reducing the
resolution desktop sharing feature work under minimal bandwidth.
10.10. White Balance on i5 Camera:
White balance option is used to augment the quality of the video when an i5 camera is being used.
10.11. Controlling the PTZ at remote location:
Controlling the PTZ feature allows the moderator to control the PTZ camera which is placed at remote
locations, during the time of the conference. In order to make of use of this feature, the requisites are: Visca
cable and the RS32 port embedded in the PC.
10.12. All Feature Flip:
All feature Flip, option allows the moderator to perform multitasking. The moderator can flip between
whiteboard, PPT, file transfer and web-co-browsing simultaneously during the time of the conference.

10.13. Multiple Browsers:
In the web-co browsing feature, multiple tabs can be opened at a time
10.14. Snap Shot:
Through the Snap Shot feature, any participant in the conference can take a snap of the
screen/video/document. Instant scanning of a document is also possible with this feature. Instant scanning
can be done by putting a document in front of the camera and clicking on snapshot feature. By this the
document can be saved as a snapshot and can be shared with the participants.
10.15. Screen capture on white board:
Through this feature any snap-shot that is taken from web or from the system or a live conference snap can
be projected on the whiteboard and can be used for further customization.
10.16. Evaluation feature:
Evaluation feature is used to collect feedback from the participants of the conference; after the conference
session is winded up. In order to collect the feedback from the participants, the moderator will prepare a
questionnaire prior to the conference initiation. These questionnaires will be displayed to the participants,
soon after the conference is over, all the options that are chosen by the participants are then saved in an excel
file.
10.17. Laser pointer:
Laser Pointer is an exclusive feature designed for the presentation purposes, through this feature, the
moderator can show or highlight any portion on the white board or a file.
