• Students in Grades 1-4 enjoy checking out two 
books every week. 
• Kindergarten students have learned to take 
care of the book they bring home weekly. 
• You can see what books we have from home

• Research has become increasingly important! 
• Instruction in the library supports and aligns 
with what teachers do in the classroom.
Technology 
• Brand new computers in our lab! 
• Two new laptop carts can be checked out by 
all classes. 
• PebbleGo databases have been a huge hit in 
grades K-3. 
• We use apps and sites to create class and 
individual stories like this one from grade 1.

• Third and fourth graders learn about citing 
sources and researching on the Internet.

• Book Podcasts are currently being created by 
second graders. 
• Third graders are using PebbleGo to learn

adaptations. 
• Grades 1 and K have been exploring and 
learning about animals on PebbleGo. 
• Fourth graders are working on Book Trailers.
