He has to deal with a boss who was not a very effective leader
He struggle to maintain his motivationnot to be boring and under stimulating
He found difficulty to get along with a colleaguewho seems to come from other planet.!
Sometimes he felt stressed out at work not known what to doWe all face these issues at times
After he was promoted to a leadership positionhe will not only face these challenges in his own work,But he’ll be thinking about how to manage other people’s workmore effectively

  15. Two types of individual difference that we are focus on. Cognitive ability and Personality.
  16. Cognitive ability, sometimes called as intelligence At least one person at university who seemed to ace all of their exams despite only studying the night before  good chance to have high cognitive ability They have reasoning power and problem solving power.
  17. There are several other peoples we can see in the university as well.
  18. There are many personalities such as Somebody always seems to be stressed out all the time
  19. May be you work with someone who’s extremely well organized and reliable
  20. Someone else who’s sloppy in their work, and just can’t be trusted to complete their tasks on time. Our behaviour and type of behaviour we tend to default to.
  21. Indicated by choice a person makes.
  22. If you put in a lot of physical effort to lift weight in gym it is an indication that you are very motivated to do exercises.
  23. The longer a person spends on an activity or the more they persist in the face of obstacles indicated high motivation for the activity Its very important to know how to set up a work environment that keeps these workers motivated
  24. 2. Specific goals Challenging Goal commitment Receive feedback Intrinsic – children play with toy. Do the job for happy Extrinsic – to obtain reward or to avoid punishment
  25. Expert’s curse – Experts can be our most powerful teacher. But often they have lost the ability to answer even simple questions accurately.
  26. Group of animals looks like one large entity  Animals conduct adoptive assimilation. Try to adopt on behaviour based on the action displayed by others close to the whole, while crowd sometimes becomes leaderless.
  27. We put collective interest first rather than personal benefits.
  28. Negotiate and communication each other to figure out what we need to pay attention to
  29. Try to learn from others and copy their success. The ground stabilities around optimum patterns of behaviour
  30. There are 4 categories in transformational leadership.

Individual consideration – about knowing who your followers are as individuals and develop their skills and knowledge Intellectual simulation – you’re challenging your followers, giving them difficult and complex tasks, and encouraging creativity and innovation Inspirational motivation – about setting a vision and looking that to day to day goals of the group and about being optimistic and enthusiastic Idealised influence – involves standing up for what you believe in discussing your values and your ethical stances So leadership is both managing people and inspiring them
