This document provides the course syllabus for Psy 113 (Psychological Testing) at the Asian Development Foundation College, College of Psychology in Tacloban City. The 3-unit lecture, 2-unit lab course introduces students to the principles, methods, uses and issues of psychological testing, including test construction, administration, scoring, interpretation and ethics. Over the semester students will learn to discuss testing rationale and limitations, score and interpret common tests, participate in test development, and write a psychological report using interview and testing results. The course outline covers topics such as interviewing, test administration, writing test items, statistics, evaluating items, cognitive assessment, personality assessment, test bias and ethics.
