PREVENTION
In the offshore oil & gas industry, dropped and falling objects present a constant
risk when working at height approximately 88% of dropped objects are
equipment parts or unsecured objects. 42% of dropped objects are due to failed

10. STOPDROP TOOLING
Stopdrop Tooling provides hand tools which have been designed to prevent
dropping when "Working At Height”. These tools are commonly called Tools at
Height, Tools Aloft or Tethered Tools. The tooling is designed and modified to
enable user freedom and maintain product functionality but continue to safely
control the tool.
In the drilling industry it is estimated that one in ten dropped object incidents
are caused by falling hand tools. By properly securing the hand tools to a fixed
point or person with a lanyard and using locking techniques for individual tool
parts, dropped objects incidents can be prevented. Stopdrop is a member of the
drops workplace organisation which is dedicated to reducing dropped object

11. STOPDROP TOOLING RANGE
Reversible Ratchets features a Pin Locking System for socket retention which is
secure but easy to release using a Pin Removal Tool. These ratchets are made
from Chrome Vanadium Steel, the Chromium finish helps resist abrasion,
oxidation, and corrosion.
The forward/reverse selector is quick and easy to use and the tool maintains
full functionality when attached to a lanyard at height.

Air Impact Wrenches features a permanent attachment point.
½” Air Impact Wrench has a Max. Torque of 625 ft-lbs and a Free Speed
(RPM) of 10,000. It features forward and revers buttons and a textured feel
for a safe grip.
The ¾” Air Impact Wrench has a Max. Torque of 1450 ft-lbs and a Free Speed
(RPM) of 5200. The ‘Gun’ features corrosion resistant treatment on internal
parts reducing wear and downtime due to contaminants in the air system,
plus the Titanium hammer case provides greater durability with reduced
tool weight. It also has a durable, textured finish which adds a non-slip grip
