Suggested proposal topics for MS in General Chemistry:
1) Investigation of Novel Catalysts for Sustainable Chemical Reactions: Explore the design and
synthesis of new catalysts to facilitate environmentally friendly chemical transformations,
aiming for increased efficiency and reduced waste.
2) Development of Advanced Materials for Energy Storage Applications: Investigate the
synthesis and characterization of novel materials, such as metal-organic frameworks (MOFs),
for their potential use in energy storage devices like batteries or supercapacitors.
3) Analysis of Environmental Contaminants and Remediation Strategies: Conduct an in-depth
study on the identification, quantification, and remediation of environmental contaminants,
such as heavy metals or organic pollutants, to assess their impact on ecosystems and
develop effective cleanup methods.
4) Exploration of Sustainable Organic Synthesis: Investigate sustainable and green approaches
to organic synthesis, such as the use of renewable feedstocks, alternative reaction
