2. 1. Introduction
Viewing available jobs, or applying for the job at the agency can be done for which job seekers has to go
to the agency and check the available jobs at the agency. Job seekers check the list of jobs available and
apply the job. Then the agency will show available jobs for the job seeker for his qualifications and then
updates the jobs database.
1.1 Purpose
The purpose of designing the online job portal is to give the job seekers a platform for
finding a right and a satisfactory job according to their qualification. It also connects the job seekers with
the major agencies.
1.2 Scope
The scope of the online job portal includes:
The Online Job Portal System that is to be developed provides the members with jobs information, online
applying for jobs and many other facilities. The basic scope of the project is given as under.

2. PROBLEM STATEMENT
In today’s competitive environment, getting jobs and searching for candidates assumes greater
importance. Earlier, the advertisements of jobs were limited to newspapers. But now the emerging
economydemandsthe situationtochange.We have variousjob portals,online employmentexchanges,
consultancies,company etc.Inthissituationrecruitmentshouldbe time saving,costeffective andatthe
same time should searchoutthe qualifiedcandidates. Byusingthe efficientmethodsandtechniquesthe
recruitment process is made easy. The employers and candidates see things not in terms of what they
need,butinterms of bestthingstheywant.The clienthuntedajobportal whichismeantfor Employers,
jobseekers,andalsowhichguidesthe candidatesinvariousareasof jobsearchandrelated things. Finding
and recruiting the best quality candidates seems to get more complicated in the coming days. So the
proposed system aimed to provide best class of employment services to job seekers,employers, and
recruiters. The system should provide free job search and services. It should be quick, safe and easy to
use. The system is meant for the end users -the employer and the candidate. The end users may be
registered users or not registered.

3. 3. OBJECTIVES
I. Login, logout and Exit.
II. If not registered than apply registration.
III. To facilitates the job search.
IV. All jobs related and their reference.
V. To acts as middle man connecting job seeker and provider.
VI. The objective of this project is to provide the information about new jobs.
VII. A user can search jobs according to their location or their skills.
VIII. A company or organization can post the new jobs which is store in the new job database
and according to this new database an employer and jobseeker or employer can search
this new jobs

of job search into technological advancement called “Online job Portal”.

5. METHODOLOGY
To start the project first, I would collect some raw data about my project. Raw data is collected
from resources. After the literature survey of the project I will start the design of the project then
I can design the best ER Diagram. Then I will design the data base of the project and design the

5. window form application on MS Visual Studio 2013 and connect with oracle data base. After
completing all over the work and testing the application, error is removed and correcting. After
this I will write the project Proposal and submit the project.

Oracle 10.0g is tool wich manage data base.
MS Visual Studio 2013.
MS Word for Documentation.
