 Maintenance means restoring the equipment to perform its function
 Corrective and preventive maintenance are two broad categories
 It consumes around 75% of the production cost
 MCDM techniques have the ability to handle maintenance decision
issue

Introduction  Maintenance means restoring the equipment to perform its function  Corrective and preventive maintenance are two broad categories  It consumes around 75% of the production cost  MCDM techniques have the ability to handle maintenance decision issue  Single technique of MCDM has its drawback
  • 3. Cont.…  MCDM technique needs input data  Its main purpose is to propose an integrated fuzzy MCDM technique  It integrates DEMATEL-ANP, IT2F and TOPSIS
  • 4. Problem statement  unavailability of maintenance strategy for a new factory  Availability of research gaps
  • 5. General objective  Determining optimal maintenance strategy Specific objective  Identify Criteria, sub-criteria and alternative maintenance strategy  Developing ANP model  Determining weights of criteria  Prioritizing the alternative maintenance strategy
