To achieve maximum results from Linkedin it is important to create a strong profile. This process generally takes
several hours and requires lots of changes and amendments, all of which are made visible to your connections as
status updates.
As a Job Seeker it is highly advisable to keep your profile changes hidden, primarily to avoid your current employer
seeing them but also numerous profile updates is considered unprofessional and annoying for other users.
Linkedin does allow you to turn off your Activity Broadcasts but this doesn’t prevent Linkedin Users viewing your
profile. To avoid these issues we have provided an Offline Linkedin Profile Template that allows you to create your
profile in your own time, ready to be uploaded once you are satisfied that it is complete
