Mutation & Adaptations

Original Creatures
The Bald Eagle The Great Grey Owl The Snake head Fish
Original Creatures
The Bald Eagle
*.Female bald eagles are
larger than male bald
eagles.
*Bald eagles eat mostly fish,
swooping down to the water
and catching them with their
powerful talons.
*Bald eagles live for around
20 years in the wild.
Bald eagles build very large
nests, sometimes weighing
as much as a ton!
The Great Grey Owl
*Locates mice below snow by
hearing, then plunges down
through surface to capture
them.
*Great Gray Owl is the tallest
American owl with the largest
wingspan
*Habitat:Boreal forest.
Snakehead Fish
*To seize its prey, the giant
snakehead will bend itself into an
S-shape and then snap its head
forward to attack.
*will take on anything that gets
too close, including people.
*Because it's an air breather, it
can stay alive after being caught
for days on end, in or out of
water.
Mutated Creature
The Great Bald Snakehead
*The measurements of 35to 37 inches, weights about ten to
fourteen pounds
*Sharp teeth, that cut through flesh like its paper
*Pierceing eyes that see right through your soul
*Can live and “Breath” underwater
*Can Fly at great speeds 100 km an hour
*One Bite is enough to have you on the floor
*Feeds on almost anything, but enjoys human flesh.
Adaptions
Creating The Great Bald Snake head, was a process of over ten years.
The DNA of the mutation, is altered and goes with the incorrect base.
The type of mutation, my creation has is a insertion/deletion mutation.
That means that the nucleotide are wrongly inserted. This is a positive
Mutation because, it benefits the animal for hunting, and self defence.
The Great Bald Snake head, can adapt to almost any environment the
Capitol puts it through, it can survive in water, the forest and even
snow. It's able to go in the water because, it's mutated to have, both
gills and lungs.
