Projection is the transformation of a 3D object into a 2D object. There are two main types of projection: parallel projection where lines remain parallel, and perspective projection where lines approach a fixed point. Parallel projection includes orthographic projection at 90 degrees and oblique projection at any angle, while perspective projection shows foreshortening as lines converge on a projector reference point.

1. Parallel projection : lines are parallel to each other
a. Orthographic : Makes and angle of 90 with the plane
i. Multi-view: Makes an angle 90 with principle axis
ii. Axonometric: Do not makes an angle of 90 with principle axis
b. Oblique : Makes any angle (alfa) with the plane
i. Cavalier : alfa = 45 , There is no foreshortening
ii. Cabinet : alfa = 63.4 , There is foreshortening
2. Perspective projection : lines are approaching to a fix point (projector reference point)
