The Project
Grade: Kindergarten Topic: Animals
Students will work for 12 weeks in a deep study about the
needs of animal to survive. They will select an animal to
study.
What do the animals need to survive?
What can we do protect animals?

The final Product
Students will develop a flyer about ideas to protect
animals. Each flyer will be developed by a groups of
students who selected the same animal. The flyers will
include scientific drawings and text. The flyers will be
reproduced and donated to the community zoo to share
with other children who visit this place.
Also the students will develop with the teacher support
a short video to sensitize other children on the
protection of animals. The video will be edited in
collaboration with parents and volunteers. The video will
be uploaded to a web and the Q code will be included
in the Flyer.

This project will help the students to learn deeply about
animals and habitats. Students will help the opportunity
to select an animal of their preference, this will promote
more interest in the student to learn. The teacher will
provide books, audiovisual materials, if it possible bring
some animals to the class, webs. Also, the interaction
with experts and the field trip will provide more
information to the students. The final product is a useful
tool that it will help the animals and it will share the
students knowledge with others. The production of video
will motivate the student to prepare oral presentations
with scientific content.
