Project Anhad aims at starting and sustaining a dialogue between school children of India and Pakistan through letters they write to each other. In February 2015, 1,300 letters from the children of Teach For India reached Pakistan under the aegis of Teach For Pakistan. In August 2015, we will receive letters from Pakistan in India. And this exchange will continue. Children from both countries will write back to each other again and again and again.

Este documento presenta una guía para docentes sobre un programa de orientación vocacional para estudiantes de quinto semestre. El objetivo general del programa es promover el autoconocimiento de habilidades, intereses y aptitudes de los estudiantes para facilitar la elección de carrera. El programa consta de cuatro unidades que abarcan la orientación vocacional, el análisis vocacional, la evaluación y diagnóstico, e inducción a perfiles profesionales. Heuristics provide estimates of the distance to the goal that can help guide search algorithms like A*. Good heuristics are admissible (never overestimate cost) and consistent (monotone). Relaxed problems can provide heuristics by ignoring constraints of the full problem. Heuristics can also be learned from experience by using state features and regression on training data.
