This document outlines the requirements for a project on measuring and documenting a building as part of an architecture course. Students are assigned to groups to measure a building and produce a report and video. The report must be 3,000-6,000 words documenting the building's architectural and historical significance. It must analyze how the architecture supports the building's purpose and inhabitation. A 3-5 minute video must also be included to provide a 3D experience of the building. The objectives are to document the building's significance and analyze the relationship between its architecture and purpose. Students can take either an historical approach or focus on the building's cultural significance and how architecture reflects the occupants' way of life.
